In September 2026, Abraham Sharkas will present at the Program for the Evolution of Spirituality's Belonging Conference at Harvard Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. His 60-minute interactive workshop, The Grammar of Survival: Capoeira, Somatic Sovereignty, and the Practice of Belonging, explores how embodied movement traditions across cultures have preserved agency, relational identity, and meaning when institutional belonging was denied.
The workshop weaves together contemplative movement, somatic psychology, and lived practice to invite participants into an experience of belonging that is felt rather than just discussed.
